Wednesday, October 29th:

Vocabulary and Irony Packet on “The Cask of Amontillado”

Break into groups of three and write three scenes. Each scene should show an example of one of the following types of irony: situational, verbal and dramatic. Each group will perform their scenes and then turn in their scripts for grades.


Thursday, October 30th:

Short test on “The Cask of Amontillado”.

Grammar; “Adjective clauses”; this homework will be due on Monday, November 3rd.

Using five of your vocabulary words please write five sentences with adjective clauses.

Friday, October 31st:

Read “The Raven” and “The Tell-Tale Heart”.
