Tuesday, April 3rd:
Go over The Odyssey Essay

Before you turn in your essay, please do the following:
Make sure you capitalize all proper names of people and places.
Make sure you capitalize the beginnings of each sentence.
Please delete the word “Well” at the beginning of any sentences.
Make sure you don’t write I or me or you in your essay. Do not write “I think”.
Make sure that each sentence has a subject, a verb, and expresses a complete thought.
Do not start sentences with “which”. If you have started sentences with “Which”, then connect that sentence with the previous sentence.
Do not end a sentence with a comma.

Do not write “would of”; write instead “would have”
Do not write “would have came”; write instead “would have come” 

Impromptu Grammar Lesson:
I come to school every day.
I came to school yesterday.
I have come to school to talk to the teacher about my child’s grades.

I go to school every day.
I went to school yesterday.
I have gone to school every day on time on task for the last month.

I have come to school today to learn.

If your essay is already submitted and graded, then rewrite it with the corrections I have given you, and resubmit your final draft to the final draft assignment box on schoology, by 11:50 on Wednesday, April 4th.
