Monday, November 24th:
Warm-ups: Write five sentences from your vocabulary book, pages 18 - 27, using adjective clauses.
Go over essay format for “Too Soon A Woman” and “A Defenseless Creature”. You will be allowed to redo the compare and contrast essay on the two literary pieces (“Too Soon a Woman” and “A Defenseless Creature”). Please bring your essay and the “Short Constructed Response” paper. The redo is due on Wednesday, November 26th.

Monday, November 17th:
Brief review of the “Cask of Amontillado” packet and situational, dramatic and verbal irony.
Break into groups of four and construct a board game for “The Most Dangerous Game”. The game should be playable, should test the players’ knowledge of the plot, characters and vocabulary words. This will be due on Wednesday, November 19th.

Tuesday, November 18th:
Shortened day!
Continue working on the board game.
Please bring your VOCABULARY FOR THE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT. The next set of pages will be assigned to you today: pages 18 - 27; exercises 11,12,13,14,16,17,18,and 19. This will be due on Friday, November 21st.

Wednesday, November 19th:
Present your board games today.
