9th Grade Weekly Agenda

Period One, which meets every day this week, ends at 8:37 Monday through Thursday.

Monday, May 21st:

Periods 1 and 5:

Finish presenting “How to Marshall Evidence”. Begin working on your Romeo and Juliet essay. The essay will be due on Tuesday, May 22nd for Period 1.


Period 6:

Break into groups and finish reading ENDER’S GAME. Remember! To get an A for the day, you must: Read ten pages; write at least a half page summary; and write down and define three vocabulary words.


Tuesday, May 22nd:

Period 1:

Continue working on your essays which will be due at the end of the period.

Period 3:

Begin working on your essays on ROMEO and JULIET today.


Wednesday, May 23rd:

Period 1:

We will begin reading a new book today.

Period 3:

Continue working on your ROMEO and JULIET essays today. They will be due at the end of the period.










Thursday, May 24th:

Period 1:

Continue reading.

Period 5:

Continue working on your essay which will be due at the end of the period.

Period 6:

You will be given the essay prompts for ENDER’S GAME. You will also be given a packet on using quotations in an essay, from which you will be given a selection to read. You will then pair up with a partner and together you will present to the class the information you learned from your selection. You will then begin working on your essay.


Friday, May 24th:

Regular schedule today.

1st, 3rd and 5th Periods:

1st period will continue reading their book. New books will be given out to 3rd and 5th and we will start reading. Yippee!

6th Period:

Continue working on your essay. It will be due at the end of the period. Be prepared for a test that’s coming up on ENDER’S GAME.
