WEEKLY SCHEDULE
FOR 9th GRADE HONORS ENGLISH
Monday, May 4th:
Quickly go over Vocabulary for the High School Students; pages 61 - 68.
Read Act 1, Scene 5.
Break Scene 5 down and analyze for comprehension and figurative language.
Make masks, learn a dance and then break Scene 5 down into segments. The class will break into groups and then act out the individual scenes.
Tuesday, May 5th:
“The Unscrambling the Adjective Clause” handout will be given and will be due on Friday, May 8th.
Shortened Day!
As soon as we finish acting out Scene 5 we will review the act in preparation for the test.
Wednesday, May 6th:
Test on Act One.
Thursday, May 7th:
Begin reading Act Two.
Friday, May 8th:
“The Unscrambling Adjective Clause” handout will be due today.
Read ROMEO and JULIET, Act 2. Go through Act 2, Scene 1, and find examples of metaphors, similes and personification and then illustrate them.
