Monday, June 9th:
1st Period:
Present your vocabulary project (VOCABULARY FOR THE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT; pages 53-60; exercises 1-7).
Read THE PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER. Do your reflections on the book.
2nd Period:
Journal:
Write five sentences using five vocabulary words from VOCABULARY FOR THE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT; pages 53-60; exercises 1-7. Share your best sentence with class by writing it on the board.
Read THE PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER. Do your reflections on the book.
5th Period:
Unit Three in VOCABULARY WORKSHOP:level C will be assigned today. You must write out the word, the definition, the synonym and the antonym on pages 35-37; the correct vocabulary words in "Completing the Sentence" (#1 -#20) on pages 38-39; the complete synonyms (#1 - #15) and antonyms (#16 - #20) on page 39; and the correct vocabulary word in "Choosing the Correct Word" (#1 - # 20) on page 40. This will be due on Friday, June 13th.
