Monday, April 25th:

Quickly do a reading comprehension test prep for Cat-6 test!

Quickly go over grammar, “Predicate Nominative and Predicate Adjective”; pages 133-134.

Read Act 2, Scenes 3,4 and 5. Don’t forget reading logs!


Tuesday, April 26th:

Quickly do a reading comprehension test prep for Cat-6 test!

Go over vocabulary, comprehension and figurative language packet for Act 2 in Romeo and Juliet.



Wednesday, April 27th:

Romeo and Juliet Act 2 test. Begin work on five paragraph essay on conflict in Romeo and Juliet.

Begin reading Act 3 in Romeo and Juliet. Don’t forget reading logs!

Take-home test over vocabulary pages 61 - 68 in Vocabulary for the High School Student. Will be due on Thursday, April 28th.




Thursday, April 28th:

Vocabulary take-home test (pages 61 - 68) due today.

Continue working on five paragraph essay on conflict in Romeo and Juliet.

Act out Act 3, Scene 1. Continue reading Act 3; don’t forget your swords and your reading logs.


Friday, April 29th:

English Workshop; pages 135 and 136; “Direct and Indirect Objects”; exercises 14 and 15. This will be due on Wednesday, May 4th.

Your first draft of the conflict essay will be due today.

Continue reading and acting out Act 3 in Romeo and Juliet. We will begin working on Act 3 vocabulary, comprehension and grammar packet.
