April 27th - May 1st
for 9th Grade Honors

Monday, April 27th:
Queen Mab Speech:
Analyze Mercutio’s “Queen Mab” speech, illustrate four scenes depicted in the speech and write the lines of verse underneath as captions. This is for a grade and will be due on Wednesday, April 29th.
Read Act 1, Scene 5. We will then construct masks, learn a dance, divide into groups and act out segments of the “party scene”.
Don’t forget to work on your Cornell notes.

Tuesday, April 28th:
Shortened day.
Grade your vocabulary homework together in class (VOCABULARY FOR THE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT, pages 61 - 68).
Continue working on the Act 1, Scene 5 party scene.

Wednesday, April 29th:
Your Queen Mab speech art work is due today. 
Present your segment of the Act 1, Scene 5 party scene.

Thursday, April 30th:
Handout:
Adverbial Clause Descrambling Handout. This will be due on Monday, May 4th.
Review Act 1 literary and vocabulary handout.

Friday, May 1st:
Act One Romeo and Juliet test.
