Monday, October 5th:

Read the second part of CAT’S EYE in your packet.
Create a “before and after” chart for Elaine.
Write three paragraphs on Elaine’s character development.

Tuesday, October 6th:

Work on the Point of View graph in your packet.
Share
Rewrite one of the story’s incidents from the point of view of one of the characters.

Wednesday, October 7th:

Your CAT’S EYE packet is due today.

Go over vocabulary words from Unit One. Break into groups of four, choose five words and create a word study presentation. You can create a song and dance or a skit illustrating the words’ meaning and usage. This assignment will be due on Thursday, October 7th.

Thursday, October 8th:

Grammar will be assigned today. Please be sure to bring your grammar book today. The assignment on run-ons will be due on Tuesday, October 13th.
Begin the vocabulary word presentations.

Friday, October 9th:

Finish the vocabulary word presentations.

Mystery question: What are you suppose to bring to class on Thursday, October 8th?
