FOR 9TH GRADE

Monday, May 14th:

1st, 3rd and 5th Periods:

Break into your groups and work on your ROMEO and JULIET rewrites.

6th Period:

Break into your groups and read, ask and find answers for questions, and find vocabulary and definitions for your word banks for ENDER’S GAME.

HEADS UP: AS SOON AS WE ARE FINISHED WITH ENDER’S GAME, THERE WILL BE A TEST AND AN ESSAY OVER THE BOOK.


Tuesday, May 15th:

1st, 3rd and 5th Periods:

Please submit a copy of your script to me. You will be given a few minutes to rehearse and then you will present your scenes to the rest of the class.

3rd Period:

Your take-home test over Act V is due today.

1st and 5th Periods;

You will be given a take-home test today over Act V. This will be due on Thursday, May 17th.

6th Period:

Final presentations of scenes from ROMEO and JULIET.

An essay will be assigned on ROMEO and JULIET in preparation for the CST.

Continue working on your essays over ROMEO and JULIET. The essays will be due at the end of the period.

6th Period:

If we are finished with the book we will have a test over the book and begin working on the literary analysis of ENDER’S GAME in preparation for the CST.
