For fourth period: Do Six Way Paragraph; pages 10 - 11; passage #5.
For fourth period: Finish presentations of “The Sniper”
Assign: English Workshop; pages 67 & 68; exercise 4: “Run-on Sentences”. This will be due on Wednesday, September 21.
Return rough draft of Cat’s Eye; final draft will be due on Friday, September 23rd.
Go over handout on good essay writing.
Read “The Most Dangerous Game”; reading log.

Monday, September 12th:
Journal: Write a short story using 10 of your vocabulary words.
Vocabulary is due today! Pages 4 - 14; exercises 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9
Check out ENGLISH WORKSHOP; assign sentence fragments and run-ons. This will be due on Wednesday, September 14th.
Pass back rough drafts of Cat’s Eye. Rewrite rough draft into a final draft. This will be due on Friday, September 16th.
Break into groups and rewrite “The Sniper” according to the point of view of your character. You must have a neatly written version of your rewrite to give to me by Tuesday. We will begin presentations of our rewrites on Wednesday, September 14th, 2005.
